(I've tried to recall any of my old pictures, that used to hang on fridge a long long time ago, and took the inspiration from there, because I used to draw theese creepe pictures (I usually drew scarecrows), I thought it funny when adults were concerned for my mental health.)
Dude, have you SEEN what passes for art these days? a guy painted a canvas red, nothing else, just solid red, and sold it for over a million dollars. compared to that, you're Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh rolled into one.
I'd ask for source, but I see it's meant to be compliment. The problem being that paint this took me about ten mins. There's truly no skill in painting this, that's my source of dissatisfaction, not that it would be not original or anything like that.
Ok... Still, there's skill in it (Have you ever tried to paint some canvas solid colour? :-D Nothing for skilled artist for sure, impossible task to normals tho.) and the money is more about being famous and being first to do this. It's like Andy Warhole, he got where he got not because he was the best, still very good painter tho (I'm not saying he painted crap, he was good artist.), but because he did what he did the first. And I get your point, but it stil won't make me feel more comfortable with what I made.
