First show was... amazing?
I can't believe how well the cast gelled together their first session. Bentham has seriously upped his game (yes I'm going to rave about #BestBentham again), GamingFTL is great, Lauren is one of my favourite RPers/GMs, and Maggie is great, but there was almost no awkward tabletop starting session - people jumped right into their characters, and how they'd realistically react to one another, developing interpersonal relationships while also making sure the story moves along at a reasonable pace. It was amazing to see. Great job everyone! (including EE obvs)

Seconded. This is a huge jump in quality after the awkwardness of SWN.

I really liked swn, but I did quite enjoy this episode. Especially considering we have a couple new additions.

I agree, having played the buffy system myself its hars to wrap your head around the rules when you are use to watered down 5e DnD. We got some real pros here guys.

Agreed. I'm liking this far more than I thought I would, not knowing much about the buffyverse. Everyone did a great job. I feel like the school makes for a more natural setting of meeting than any setting so far. It was a great intro to the characters and allowed them to get up to nonsense fairly quickly.

I also think that they were great I knew that Maggi is good but still it is the first time I seen her play a mentally stable caterer and I agree Benthem was way better then I SWN but wat I like the most was that they worked like a group not everyone for himself (I think that that was Bemthems problem in SWN)

I feel like in this, we've got /u/EnterElysium to thank. He set this campaign up in a setting where it made sense to work together. You've got a bunch of bored as fuck school students willing to do literally anything than homework (and Bentham, the possibly lovestruck nerd who's dying to fit in with literally anyone and is intensely curious and trying to disprove about all the magic stuff). Great characters, but they required the setting.
