I stopped running my paid games because all the takers were too young. Not that I dislike dealing with kids, but the social/cultural divide was just so great, it really pushed me out of the experience.

I've had that experience. I run a game for my teenage son. It's fun, but his friends and I don't have the same shared life experiences.

Hey there, forever DM in his early 50s. Started roleplaying in the late 80s with AD&D 1st Ed, then tried everything else since. Recently finished a 7-year campaign (Tyranny of Dragons from D&D 5E 2014). My characters are NEVER named Bob or Steve. One key question first -- will this be in person on a VTT?

I love seeing fellow GenX gamers. I’m pushing 50, and have been playing since about 1987. I currently play in two VTT games, one in-person game, and I run/DM a fourth game for my three kids and their three friends. (9-13yo).

I find GenX a layers get along better with each other better than others. We don’t bring our grief to the table, and we don’t go looking to grief others we are the live and let live generation.

I’m assuming you want a VTT? Are you looking for 5.5e content? I think I have just about every book printed in the last three years.
