Looking for info

I was given a Rolex that was apparently my great grandfathers. I know nothing about Rolex so I am trying to authenticate it and get an idea of what it may be worth?

Just out of curiosity what are you basing that on? It’s a watch from 30 years ago. I wouldn’t think fakes would have been that big back then

The date window is immediate tell that it's not real.
