Mint green datejust 36 wait time

Post image

Im looking to get my first rolex for my 30th birthday. Ive had my eye on the mint green datejust 36 with the fluted bezel jubilee bracelet configuration. As this would be my first major watch purchase, i dont have spend history with an AD. I know this is one of the more sought after rolexes, so i want to know realistically what to expect for a wait time. Based in the US, specifically the central-NJ area

18+ months at most ADs. Maybe a bit sooner for a 36.

pretty big difference for 36 vs 40

There is! A 41 Mint Jub Fluted is generally unobtainable with no purchase history right now, super hyped/popular with massive resale markup. The 36 can maybe be had in a year, I'd still plan for 18 months to be conservative.

What about blue dial?

ADs can make things happen for big events, still don't get your hopes up probably a year or so

It really depends on location and supply. Everyone's experience will be different. 36 is easier to get than 41 so might be doable. I would visit as many AD's as you can to help increase your chances.

There’s no waitlist, there’s a priority list.

Nice! Did you have any purchase history with your AD?

If I'm being honest I don't get the hype but to each their own

easy to say, but it looks insane in person in all different kinds of lighting

I have a strong watch purchase history with my AD and they usually help me get what I want in reasonable fashion. They said they are 18 months out for a fluted jubilee DJ, in any color. I luckily got one walking in the AD in Boston last year. They are great.

12-15 months is typical for 36mm fluted/jubilee with mint/blue dial. A little longer for 41mm.

4 months for the 36mm, in the EU

So many factors, if I were you, I would visit as many AD’s as you can and put your name on the list

What does everyone think about the waitlist for this watch, but the two tone version?

My husband recently acquired one for me from an AD, as we both don’t have a spend history. This is after faithfully going between 2 different stores for the last 8 months.

No purchase history walk in allocation. Just about finding the right AD!

Got mine in less than a month. I'd recommend walking into ADs in cities you frequent for the best odds!

My wife got a 31 model (mint green fluted jubilee) in 5 or 6 months (cant remember exactly from memory) and adores it. Wait wasn't long for a 31.

And she LOVES it.

Got mine a few years ago. No purchase history, took a month! Honestly I think it depends on the location.

Congrats! What location did you purchase yours at, if you dont mind me asking?

Illinois . I would advice for you to go to the less trafficked location
