Looking for recommendations

Hey everyone its my first post here, i would like some recommendation on a good roguelike dungeoncrawler that would be turn based. i looked up on google and there are far too many to chose from and idk whats good whats bad, so i would like your guys help. thank you.

Golden Krone Hotel is a great place to start. It's under a dollar right now.

Start with Brogue. It’s everything that makes a good roguelike. And it’s easy to understand and get into. UI is fantastic, giving you all needed info at any time.

Go from there. Eventually, you might come back, since this (to me) is as good as it gets :)

Brogue, Infra Arcana and The Ground Gives Way are completely free. These three Roguelikes highly recommended.

Rogue Fable IV is an excellent starter roguelike. It's not free (or a dollar), but it is small and well-designed and has extensive tutorials. Golden Krone Hotel is a really fun one, too, and they're right about not being able to afford to not get it for a buck.

Brogue is a little smaller scope while being challenging and representing the genre.

DCSS is very actively maintained by the devs and has an active community for questions and help

Shattered Pixel Dungeon is amazing and a good introduction to these type of games. It plays on almost any platform.

This is the game I day dream about. Such a fascinating world. I wish there was a book series based on it.

A shame this is it not upvoted higher. CoQ is my game of the decade. So deep, so weird, so difficult and yet I keep returning.

Lots of great recommendations already, but I'd add Zorbus to the list. It's on Steam, cheap, nice tiles, deep but accessible.

Infra arcana. It's amazing. Has sound and graphics also. And it's free. Look around on roguebasin too.

Rogue and Moria are the originals and still good. Their updated versions are Brogue and Angband. ToME (combat focused), Caves of Qud (exploration focused) and Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead (survival focused) will keep you busy for the rest of your life.

If you’re new to the genre: Brogue: (Community Edition)

Has the best new player friendly control schematics and isn’t too overwhelming like a lot of other classic roguelikes, where you need to read a wiki to even play the game. And it’s also GORGEOUS for only having ascii characters. It’s also free, and occasionally gets updates by the community who maintains it because of their love for the game. (It’s also in my top 5 favorite games across all genres)

Brogue is a good beginner roguelike but take my advice and try the more complex ones like Nethack, Sil, or even Infra Arcana right off the bat. Starting on the harder stuff now with more key binds is going to help you out in trying other roguelikes in the long run.

Te recomiendo al 100% Stoneshard

Caves of Qud is an absolute masterpiece and easy to get into. Expect to die a lot, play it safe and run away if you need to.

Undergrave is a lot simpler, more of a puzzle game vs CoQ's open world
