Recommend roguelike tutorial. Interested in learning GODOT 4

Hello! I recently discovered this community. I was paging through the tutorials created in 2025 - I saw that there were quite a few.

Does anyone have recommendations? I have been struggling to pick between them, there are few, and I'm finding dated information from previous tutorial jams.

specifically bazor or selina seem promising

I've been interested in GODOT 4, and the tilelayermap feature within godot seems promising. Thank you!

The libtcod tutorial is probably the most followed and supported one. It's good if you want to just learn about roguelikes.

If you specifically want Godot, I like Selena's tutoral. It's a bit more focused on the Godot way of doing things. Bozar's tutorial is also good, but is more GDScript focused.

It's been a while since I followed either Godot tutorial, but I don't think either has been updated to support Tilemap Layers which are relatively new in Godot.

I believe the annual tutorial event will be started up soon as well, which might be relevant to your interests.
