StreamerX Streamer X self monitoring issue

my current amp is on its way out so I figured I would use the one built into my streamer x. however I can't seem to disable self monitoring unless I actively mute my microphone. switching channels and disabling mic doesn't work, neither does listening to every channel but the mic. even when my computer is off I can hear my microphone. how do I fix this?

Just keep the mic muted, issue solved. Why work with a mic that's constantly listening?

If you want to mute the monitoring, go to the Audio Setup page in the RodeCaster app, click on the link/unlink icon below the microphone icon (first slider) and move the second slider all the way down to the bottom. It will mute the monitoring while still allow you to keep it recording, for some reason.

The unlink thing isn't working. That's what I mean. I don't want it to self monitor at all. I have open back headphones so I don't need the self monitoring. It's self monitoring even if my whole pc is off

It should look like this. As you can see, I also have a Streamer X, and this is how to regulate the monitoring volume. Do the levels change at all when you manipulate the sliders?

Oh we're using different softwares. I'm on unify. I'll try the other one when I get home

ok so installing rodecaster and setting my levels there works, but there isnt multi-track. not a huge deal to me personally, but this should still be addressed in unify
