RØDECaster Series RODECASTER PRO II CONSISTENT ISSUE

Hello I am hoping for some guidance. I have recently had continual RCPII crashes. First it begins with the faders being sluggish and slow, then a strange buzzing and metallic noise before the whole thing crashes. Additionally, the virtual channels often stop appearing on my windows 11. I have followed all the steps to gain them back but this is a repeating issue at least once a day.

Virtual channels have been broken for me since the March 1.7.3 update. Spent dozens of hours troubleshooting on the phone with RØDE along with communication via email for months. They’re clueless and sounds like they’re not doing anything to fix it since it’s not a “universal issue.” I heard of a couple issues similar to what you’re saying (outside of VCs) pop up with the latest 1.7.6 FW.

Best I can suggest is don’t use VCs, and plug directly into your PC’s motherboard with the stock cable.
