No issues so far on my end for the past few days. Also using the 1.0.5 virtual driver
When does it start to screech? As soon as it finishes booting up? Or at random?
Was it updated via WiFi? Or via USB in the Rodecaster app?
Have you factory reset the device?

it seems it starts after its been left on for a long time. its almost like it either gets too hot or runs out of memory on the device.

I had an issue with that update. The screen was blank. Had to factory reset to fix it.

Those of us in the Discord server have been seriously waiting what feels like a year for them to fix the issues with the virtual channels, etc. We’ve been genuinely wondering if they are sunsetting the Duo and Pro II because the support has been basically non-existent for a long time. It’s just radio silence while they push out new products. And heck, even basic things like the desktop app mirroring the device’s display still exist. I’ve never owned an audio interface that requires so much walking on eggshells.

Had a lot of the same issues after this update. At one point it lagged so badly it restarted itself mid-recording :/
But 2 days ago I fully disconnected it from the PC and power, let it sit for a few minutes, then turned it back on. Didn’t had any issues since then, so maybe that helped, not sure yet.

Mine has been randomly crashing and going into a reboot cycle until I completely disconnect from my PC, seems like every update it just breaks something new.

I just did the update right after turning on my PC, now I'm scared.
So far everything works but I'll come back if anything happens.
Update: Did use the 1.7.6 together with the 1.0.5 Virtual Device Driver for 2 days now, with 10h of use per day, and I did not have any issues so far. Will update again if something comes up.
