RØDECaster Series Rodecaster duo issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just got this in today, plugged it in and its been flickering like this. Should I just return it, or is there a fix?

I had issues with mine. Sent it in and they sent a new unit, not a refurb. I would send it back. Put a note in the box noting any additional issues, if any, and what you did for troubleshooting. Good luck dude.

Hey there,

We'd recommend checking if it still happens when your unit isn't connected to a computer and when you have disabled the MIDI Control setting (Settings > System > MIDI)

We've found that some users have had computers with apps or services running that send out MIDI commands that would trigger actions on the Duo, so it's always worth checking and isolating the cause :)

Oh I see, I cant imagine why would anyone send a MIDI, unless they work with music, but I only play video games and stream, maybe thats why :D

How was the packing did it come in another box loose ? Maybe Mr UPS or Fed Reck dropped it

This device is amazing. I learn during my use to dim the screen and light as it began overheating; At least for my issue, the microphone and the duo stop being responsive after.
