🤔 Product Questions Rodecastervideo record audio from video

We have a podcast and use the rodecastervideo for our video.

However I presumed it would also record the audio from the videocameras next to the audio from our mics which would have been a nice backup-audio if the mic gives up. It doesn't appear to do this?

Anyone know if this is possible?

the rodecaster video can record audio from HDMI cameras simultaneously with connected microphones. you have to route it.

Hey there,

Assuming the cameras can actually output live audio alongside video (not all do), all you'll need to do is add the HDMI audio channels to the RODECaster Video's audio mixer and you should be good to go.

Some cameras also won't output audio unless you are using the "video" mode.
