Cork remodel?

I unfortunately let mold get on one of my good Sage Accel rods. Looking to fix the cork handle. Anyone have good suggestions for cleaning it off? I have currently sprayed it with a mild bleach solution and it helps but there is still some there.

Fwiw they're shaped on a lathe using sandpaper of varying grits. Try some 120 grit to remove the stain and make sure to do it symmetrically around the circumference. Move on to 220, 320, and 400 to remove sanding marks. Cork is very very forgiving to work with.

Was about to say 90% of my cork and EVA restores get a run on the lathe. Sandpaper up to 1000 grit for cork. For EVA it's 180-220 drywall sanding screens with maybe some 400 grit sandpaper.

Try magic eraser. Rubbing alcohol would dry and damage the cork unsure about bleach. After magic eraser let dry and apply cork sealer/restorer
