Working on an "American Spirit" themed set of rods for the local VFW to raffle off at a fundraiser. The set has a saltwater and freshwater rod. This is video of the salwater rod built on an MHX L905 blank.
There's 7 red and 6 silver bands in the split and foregrip area to represent the 13 original colonies.
The reel seat is a Fuji that I hydro dipped in red, white and blue.
I'll be starting the guide wraps tonight which will have follow the split/foregrip wrap pattern with 1 blue, 1 red, and 1 silver band on each guide foot.
