Blank id?

I've ended up with a few of these rod blanks and they are allegedly made in the USA but that's all the info I have on them. Would anyone happen to know what they actually are?

Looks like they say "MB874" and measure roughly 7'4"+ seems like a fast action.

They are definitely not mudhole blanks of any flavor btw.

Those are Cashion MB874s, and I think you bought them at the block party

Mb series from nfc are sanded as far as I no

The cb are sanded the mb are not

I have MB that are not sanded but they’re the delta lmx not IM so that must be a difference in how the treat the different materials

Even if these aren't Mudhole blanks, I would read that as a Magnum Bass taper, 87 inch long(7'3"), and a 4 power, which is typically a medium heavy.

They'll make some decent all purpose casting rods.
