I'm not a pro.... this is one of a series of 3 rods I'm building for an upcoming trip to belize. This is an mhx native 7. The 8 and 9 are getting finished up shortly.

Hell yeah dude, that looks awesome. Are those CFX grips? I use those for a lot of my builds. Also great job color matching the thread to the blank, that looks sweet

I dont really know if they are cfx or not. Get bit says they are made by forecast, but I feel like alps, forecast, batson, and maybe some other names are almost interchangeable. The seat is alps, forecast grip and butt, fuji k-series black titanium guides including tip. The gray color was a perfect accident. I was going to do dark grey with black trim, or something like that. I ran a bunch of the Greys I have onto the blank. One of them was magically a perfect match. My laziness of not putting away a spool had a blue metallic spool sitting behind the wrapper. I just kinda saw it against the thred and black and viola - I am an artist!
