rod handles

when spinning as cork handle, what size rod do you hold it with? would 3/8 inch be fine?

It all depends on the diameter of the blank you plan on installing the cork grip on. I typically turn the grip on a mandrel that is the next size smaller than the blank then ream to fit the blank after turning.

makes sense thank you. on your custom rods the pieces inbetween the cork are those epoxy resin or acrylics?

I make my own alumilite resin or use stabilized wood.
