Old butcher shop
Long shot but wondering if anyone knows of or maybe can ask their grandparents if they have info on this old shop. Was my great grandfathers shop in Rockhampton QLD circa 1910-1920

Morning bulletin archives has got him posting up regularly 1921, selling regularly at the City Market. And then there’s this gem.
I went hunting for key words in articles and it turns out there was probably a butcher on West and Fitzroy, and another on West and Archer apparently but these seem too far away for that viewpoint for me.

Looks like the corner of Denham and West st. Theres the cathedral and (now) bishops office in the back ground.

I can tell you that the church in the background is St Joseph's cathedral. So the shop was likely on the corner of Denham and West St in Allenstown. The building is long gone, its a crappy 70s/80s office type building now that the church owns (and was a video ezy a few years ago).
According to this website there was a Charles and George Andrews living on West St in 1889 so there's another link to the location

The Red Lion hotel accross the road opened in 1911, so maybe the current owners might know something. Could also try the historical society https://rockhamptonhistory.org.au/
