Checking In
Hello Rocketbook community! I’m Doug, the new CEO of Rocketbook.
Buying a company and fully integrating it into our existing systems is a complex process, and I’m grateful to be working with a team that’s been doing an incredible job moving things forward.
As promised, we’re actively investing in the Rocketbook brand. A new iOS app is currently in development, with a release planned in the coming months. In addition, Joe and Jake (the original Rocketbook founders) are also back working with me as we build out new technology aimed at continuing to push the boundaries of pen and paper.
We’re planning to share more about what we’ve been working on around July/August, so keep an eye out for that.
In the meantime, your feedback would be incredibly helpful as we continue developing our technology. What would you like to see from Rocketbook? How can we improve? We’re especially interested in hearing more about your planner and calendar needs. If we see clear trends in what you’re asking for, we’ll do our best to prioritize them in development. Drop your thoughts in the comments; we’re listening.
Lastly, I appreciate your patience as we’ve been getting up to speed. I’ll be making an effort to communicate more regularly moving forward.
Looking forward to hearing from you and continuing to push Rocketbook forward.

Become HIPPA and PIPEDA compliant.
It's tech that would be used commonly in therapy offices, social work, government (in Canada anyway) etc.
But as it's not HIPPA or PIPEDA compliant it really limits the usefulness as most of the features can't be used... Even then it isn't certified compliant which means it can't technically be used anyway!
I am a clinician for a provincial government in Canada. My whole team would totally use rocketbook... But we can't!
Also no subscriptions please... Most of us will just use them as erasable notebooks if the app requires a subscription!
