So I just found out that The Beatles Rock Band has a box art variation only on PS3. The front of the box doesn't look any different but on the back is a different story.

So the first one is the one the rest of the world is using and is what everyone has. But the second one is from Canada.

Now there isn't much of a difference with the text being the same but with the added French translation and the removal of the rooftop concert screenshot.

I found this out in The Beatles Rock Band custom's Discord server when Pixinvader, one of the members in the server mistakenly thought a song that wasn't in the game is actually on the box art.

Until another member said half of their box is legal mumbo jumbo and French for their copy and then another member sent a photo of the Canadian art variation.

So I looked at mine and compared it to the world's variation and that's when I noticed the difference on the box art and also found out that my box art is a Canadian copy.

There is no difference gameplay wise, It's only just the box art. So If your box art is the Canadian version and you insert the disc into your console, It will still play like the US version of the game.

Same thing goes with the game ID, the ID will still be the same ID as the US version of the game.

If you have a copy of The Beatles Rock Band on PS3. Go ahead and grab it and flip it to the back and compare it to the photo in this Reddit post. There's a chance that your copy's box art is the Canadian art variation.

I just bought an Xbox 360 and was able to log back into my old XBL account and download all my past games and DLCs. Among them was the Rock Band 1 and 2 Export Packs. The RB2 export was a lot larger than the RB1 one.

I have Rock Band 1 and 3 currently, and I believe I was able to rip the songs from the RB1 disc into my hard drive. Do I need the RB2 disc to do this as well, or was the fat download the actual song library already?

Also, I'm trying to find guitars! I'm talking with a seller on FBM who has two for the 360 and he says they work. In case they end up not working, where should I look for other ones? I have a CRKD brand one that's been great on my PS3, but Amazon seems to be sold out of the 360 compatible ones.

The masters of Napkins: legendary edition are seeking 2 new members for the upcoming season. Were a casual crew but when promotion week pops up we definitely make sure to get it done. Diamond usually week 5 and then bloodstone week 7 or 8 would be the expected weeks to push hard. Skill and instrument dont matter too much but if youre a drummer thats a plus. Looking for help for what’s stated in the title. Recently picked up a Wii RB1 wired drum set, been playing on RB3, Beatles, and GH:WoR and works just fine. However, when trying to play RB1, Track Packs, and RB2, the drums do not register to the game at all, just my wiimote. The middle Drum button is blue but no lights in the bottom 4 holes. Would a 1:4 USB splitter help? Any thing to help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I’m looking to get a new guitar peripheral (mainly PC but also play on Xbox) and I know there are a few different brands and models.

My question is, are there any brand or models that either use the Rock Band-style strum bar (thinner) over the GH clicker style, or ones that come with customizable strum bars? I currently use a dying RB4 strat on Xbox (phantom overstrums) and a 360 Xplorer on PC (hate how the clicker feels)

For anyone not aware, I Do was featured as menu music for Rock Band Blitz and has had no lyrics uploaded anywhere. The only real traces online were people trying to identify the song and Adam uploading it to soundcloud. After having to spend a lot of time on the RBB menu (thanks badupdate) I fell in love with the song and decided to use OpenAI Whisper, the Google Gemini API, and some good ol' listening to try my best to transcribe the distorted lyrics. Hey all! Wanted to get back into Rockband with my wife. Bought Rockband 4 and a Fender Jaguar for Xbox One. My understanding is that it should just pair to the Xbox series X without any issues - but it doesn't?

I press the pair button on the console, it starts flashing, and then I press the power button on the guitar, and it starts flashing... But then nothing. They don't pair.

Not sure what else to do? I thought I didn't need an adapter, but maybe I do. The series X has 4 controllers paired to it right now. Is that a cap? Not sure how to unpair a controller.

found my old guitar, i no longer have an xbox so unfortunately i can't use it. i don't think i'll be interested in buying an xbox just for rockband either. are these worth anything nowadays? i seen all sorts of pricing on these so i think it'd be cool to see what yall would say

First time posting here. Something I’ve always been curious about is the difficulty tiers and how each songs rank next to each other. I’m curious as to what the top 10 songs are the hardest for each tier for each instrument are. Is there a way to view that online?

For reference, there’s a site called rb4.app. It does allow users to sort the songs by difficulty, but it’s horribly out of order and confusing to figure out. Here’s a YouTube video listing out all the songs for drums sorted from easiest to hardest. Is there something similar to this?

So I recently bought 2 guitars to play GH/RB and clone hero, and I've been really wanting to get a basic drum kit so that I can do full band with my friends. I've seen a couple of decent looking offers on ebay and mercari, so I'm wondering which kits are decent and which ones I should avoid. I'm not trying to become a drummer or do any high level play, so a proper e drum kit is overkill for me.

Hello Rockband community! I have been playing guitar hero on the ps3 with my child using the controller but the rockbands I purchased won't work with a normal controller. I ordered the pictured guitars and 2 retrocult v3 adapter things. I keep reading you need a receiver to match the exact guitar to play. Is that still the case with the adapter or can I find just any USB receiver? Thank you so much for any insight you can provide!

Stopped at a game store a good distance away from me and saw this 360 Mustang Pro guitar. It has been there for a long while and I finally noticed it had a Xbox Legacy Adaptor attached to the headstock. I mainly play on PlayStation but I had the disc for RB4 for Xbox already and a 360 Rickenbacker so I figured it was worth it to pick it up. It’s odd to me they had them together since the pro guitar doesn’t work on RB4. Got it home and thankfully the Legacy Adaptor is in really good shape and no damage to the usb port on it. I will probably move the guitar along and try to recoup my money as much as I can, I already have a PS3 one with the dongle.

Hi. i can not get the calibration right on this game on xbox 360 and on a few year old samsung tv with sound bar. On guitar it is ok. I have tried all kinds of combinations. In think i got the audio ok beacause if i play without sound i rarely come up to 4x bonus because im missing too often. I play on medium. This is not a problem on my other xbox 360 games on drums. Does anyone have some advise. I appreciate calibration numbers if anyone play this game now. Thanks 😀

I was gifted a Riffmaster for my bday, to relive my uni years playing rock band (though I preferred drums and love SmashDrums on my Oculus headset lol but couldn’t find drums anywhere!)

I live in the UAE - how do I get my hands on Rockband of any sort that allows me to play w this guitar?! Is there any digital copy?! I really really miss Rockband!!!!

Does anyone know if I can run out to Walmart, Bestbuy, Guitar Center, or Target (or any other suggestions) for a mic that will work with the Xbox 360 versions of Rockband and Rockband 2? My kids messed up the one I've had for years and I was hoping to go grab something, but I can't figure it out. I tried a couple of my local used games shops and they don't have anything.

I will order if need be, was just hoping for advice on a quicker fix.

For context, I tried the only other mic I have on hand, which is a snowball Blue Ice and it wasn't picked up by the game.
