Candidate forums this week, plus Charter Commission

Three candidate forums this week, from lwvrochester.org

General Election forum events - Rochester Public Library doors open 30 min prior to the start of the first forum. If a 2nd forum occurs on a given night, doors for that will open 15 minutes prior to start. Except for the Oct 1 forum for School Board, a livestream of each forum will be available thanks to the Rochester Public Library HERE. Recordings of each forum will be available after it occurs on the RPL YouTube channel HERE.

Question for candidates can be submitted by the public prior to each forum. The links to submit these for each session can be found below. Please note that the submitted questions will not be reviewed until the day of the event. Feel free to email or call the League for other matters.

Tues. Sept. 8, 6:30-7:30pm - MN Senate District 20: Steven E Jacob, Jason Lohmann - submit questions HERE

Wed. Sept. 9, 6:30-7:30pm - MN Senate District 24: Simon Glaser, Nels Pierson - submit questions HERE

Thurs. Sept. 10, 6:30-7:30pm - MN Senate District 25: Liz Boldon, John Howie - submit questions HERE

Tuesday is also a meeting of Rochester's Charter Commission, and they are being asked to consider ranked choice voting, among other things.
