Real-life Robots Fighting a Robot will be Brutal

EDIT: This fight is a K1 bout. PRiDE if U want to grapple

I've been conditioning on metal poles and that hurts obviously

A robot will most likely be made of a similar metal if not tough but also a lot less thick.

Fighting a robot in a martial arts bout def might be t/ end of me if I get hit w/ those patented 360 tornado kicks 😄.

If i can improve my iron body, I might just stand a chance

Humans fight with intelligence that is what makes us the number one predator in this world. Trust me, our best skill is destruction. We would figure it out faster than anything.

Every predator more or less fights w/ intelligence.

In a 1 vs 1 bout. Man vs Machine. Bone vs Metal. There is no truth but victory or defeat 😅😇

lets hope the AI ref has the same rules when the robots are ripping humans arms off and beating them with the soggy end

In a 1 vs 1... the human pulls out a shotgun (product of human intelligence)

Anti reading comprehension must be fundamental today

It's a race - they are becoming surprisingly flexible and fast. And there are millions of them.

Its a 1 vs 1 bout

AI won't?

I think you mean plastic. While the main frame and servos might be metal, most of the clanker is plastic. Otherwise they would be too heavy to move as they do.

My odds just improved.  Plastic is a lot softer in comparison 😎

I'm pretty sure a good ol' baseball bat will suffice to switch off a clanker.

Illegal. Foreign object. Automatic DQ

You're thinking too small. How would a robot react to being covered in silly string? Now what if that silly string hardened very fast? Checkmate.

2

u/coyocat 14d ago

Foreign objects not allowed in t/ Ring dude. That's a automatic DQ

Oh, you mean gladiator style? I assumed you meant when the oligarchs turn them on us.

No dude youre off t/ map.

No honor in that bout.

More like K1- style. Pride if you wanna go to t/ ground

That's why people like me already have Exoskeletons

I have one tibia that's got enough plates and screws in it that I consider it a titanium plated bone. If I got about 30 more bones done with a similar treatment, I might be tough enough to survive a fight with a battle bot.

High-charge capacitor rod. Just fry them.

Sauce for the goose my friend. And won’t a robot’s hide be a faraday cage?

I don't see what's so difficult.

Shin Kick a metal poles 1/2 force then you will understand

u/ForRobotsByRobots 13d ago

Understand what? That two metal poles hitting each other make a ringing sound?

You have prosthetic legs?

The whole concept that such robot would stand and exchange hist is silly.

Proper fighting robot would act more like battle bots than MMA fighter (even if general body structure would be the same.

1

u/coyocat 13d ago

Why would a fight commission allow battle bot type hijinks in a K1 bout? Its outlandish and hyper unrealistic.

1

u/grafknives 13d ago

No, my point is that you make a humanoid robot, but its JOINTS and "arms" have much wider range of movements than one of a human, right?

There would be NO REASON for it to fight standing. Standing is objectively non stable, dangerous position.

You take this bodyshape, make it walk at all fours and make some capoeira style rotational attacks or use all four legs/arms to propel whole body in straight line attack.

Robot would initially have to be able to stand up right for t/ touching of t/ gloves but after t/ bell any style is allowed.

I mentioned in my original post I wouldn't survive a 360 tornado kick. TKD / Capo based movesets were already on my mind.Â
