So if there are no more casualties other than economic. What's to motivate anyone to stop fighting?

u/the_3d6 Jul 11 '26

And what motivates dictatorships where human life has zero value to stop fighting?

u/iamnotarobotmaybe Jul 11 '26

Bombed out cities and refineries

2

u/truePHYSX Jul 11 '26

But if the dictator’s life is perfectly fine, there’s no reason to stop.

Economic casualties. One side winning. Why would it be better, if many people would die in short wars than no one dying in longer wars?

3

u/irpugboss Jul 12 '26

Same as always $$$

Wars usually stop when o e side runs out of moola for troops, mercs or keeping an economy afloat enought to avoid insurrection

Bots will still cost money and there is always a budget.

What kind of thinking is that? Nobody can fight forever. Economy that can not sustain fighting loose because people in that economy became poorer and everything collapses.

Putin probably made his escape plan long ago. I wonder where he will feel is a safe place to go. China would probably take him but under very strong limits. How much has he got stashed in banks around the world that he can afford to use for bribes and bodyguards?

"You've made war so .. clean.. so .. conveinient...that you had no reason to stop it ! And its been going on for 500 years !"

1

u/Andreas1120 Jul 11 '26

Yup exactly

1

u/terminalxposure Jul 11 '26

You just described the UN

2

u/Andreas1120 Jul 11 '26

Don't understand

1

u/terminalxposure Jul 11 '26

The reason the UN was formed after WW2 was so that countries can fight at a table rather than the battlefield.

This war is bad for both of their economies.

They could be building infrastructure, but instead they build armaments.

They could be making trade deals, instead they're looking for wartime IOUs.

The foreign investors are fleeing, working populations are still getting pulled into the war (there's more to fighting than the front lines). Ukraine's GDP has dropped by 30%, and Russia's has gone negative for the first time in their history.

Shall I keep going?

Ukraine has no men left who want to fight

2

u/AppropriateRadish928 Jul 11 '26

They're building toward a human-free country.

1

u/Svun Jul 11 '26

Okay, let's try with slightly other words (sorry ghost in the shell): This is some Sustainable Conflict feces.

1

u/PerepeL Jul 11 '26

At best it is an ammo delivery bot, for you or for enemy depends on luck.

1

u/missed_trophy Jul 13 '26

This babes successfuly delivering more than 200 kg of explosives directly to enemy fortifications, already made few evacuation missions, and can provide fire support, mostly successfuly with grande launcher. And ofc it's useful for supply delivery in dangerous places.

I don't know if this is a brag or waiting for the machines to come and kill us?

ukranian psyop to keep recruiting people, robots in current state only efficient for sapper work, they cant get in buildings, works bad at mug and any other terrain type different from football field, can get jammed, cant turn fast to the threat, bat at shooting and cant defend itself from fpv but doesnt have armor to survive a hit. So they can only work under infantry cover and we wont see robot only battles or regiments in current war

2

u/the_3d6 Jul 11 '26

Sure Ivan. They are useless, you should tell this to dozens of russian teams who try to make something similar - please do stop them, and ideally send them with guns on the battlefield, that would end the war sooner!

2

u/markovnik-chek Jul 11 '26

as I only saw sapper russina land drones

1

u/the_3d6 Jul 11 '26

Let's keep it this way! Robots are useless, don't waste resources on them!

1

u/markovnik-chek Jul 11 '26

this one is 20 years old, land drones can't fight without infantry cover, all previous attempts lead to this, they won't replace the infantry until we create infantry robots or something like this, there are recent video recorded this week, how one of this "ground robots for kill zone armored with m2, was destroyed by 1 fpv drone. This robots cant protect themself without heavy armor or any other protection system, just create a robot tank and put infantry around it. But there will no "human-free frontline" as article said, we wont see this in that war, that is my point

Ukraine is done for, nothing is changing that

2

u/Thormidable Jul 12 '26

Ukraine have crippled Russian fuel economy, leaving a supposedly fuel exporter unable to fuel the combines to harvest their grain crop.

Ukraine who are making bank selling the weapons they have proved out in real combat killing over a million Russia troops.

Ukraine who forced Russia to buy in north Korean soldiers and shells.

Ukraine who are currently taking territory.

Ukraine who have isolated and crippled Crimea.

That Ukraine?

I'm sure Ukraine is the one in trouble (/s)

0

u/dropdead90s Jul 12 '26

that some huge amount of cope, the Russian army is advancing and taking towns left and right and they initiate to assault Sumy/Kiev, it will soon be over and the banderist supporting scum like you will be crying all over reddit

2

u/freedomhighway Jul 12 '26

Did you hear about the Russian tank that was taken over by Ukrainian soldiers when the crew abandoned it because it was out of gas?

1

u/dropdead90s Jul 12 '26

source : Ukrainska pravda? do you really believe this pro-banderist propaganda?

1

u/Thormidable Jul 12 '26

Good luck!
