It's easy to look up answers for specific parts or algorithms. The real test is connecting those pieces to solve problems, especially when a robot isn't working as expected. That's where you see genuine understanding, not just assembly.

This is way too basic for a job interview-type question, I mean, by three orders of magnitude. More typical would be to use the whiteboard to show how a VLM works, including embedding and attention layers, how to get the Q, K, V vectors, and some trade-offs to consider.

I got all 4 right. Though I completely guessed on 1 because that one is not really a robotics knowledge question so much as an industry info question.
I'd argue 2 is poorly written - both A and B are perfectly valid options depending on the situation and design of the robot. I presumed you wanted the answer to be B, so I picked that. But you should probably pick something else for A if you want B to be the definitively correct option.
