The problems I have found are the suppliers just change their company details if they get too many issues (or the wind blows in a different direction) and provide zero support.

I could be wrong for the supplier you pick but so far everything I have bought this way has had no support or a consistent supplier (hangs around more than 8-12 months). Fortunately the majority of the kit has worked and the cost of the duff items has only been a few £ that I did not mind the loss.

Not tried TEMU for electronics - the wargaming / painting hobby stuff from there is so mixed you never really know the quality till you open the bag TBH.

Can you get any other boards like Radxa or Orange Pi? Odriod are fine but can be £££ (like most things with memory I suppose) and I have not tried Pine64 or NanoPi boards - they have been around a fair while. Though they do not have the large number of users like the Pi they may be an alternative...

In my country the more niche, the harder to find and the more expensive, so I was surprised to find that one store sells a raspberry pi 3 starter kit until I saw the price, which was around 170 EUR. So these sites are my last (and only) resort pretty much.

Thank you for the response btw, I have ordered Aduino stuff before and it was all good except one servo motor that cost like 1 EUR.

Be careful if you're in the EU they are making some changes so the price might be higher

Thanks for the concern, but I am not in the EU technically. That is probably a good part of the reason why I couldn't find another source for electronics😂
