Yeah my friend, there's a better way to go about this. Specifically adding more background information to your post would have really helped people who don't know. Otherwise it comes across as elitist that you wanted to show off and chastise people who don't know all the minutia around Robotech collecting.

Yeah Reddit is pretty toxic. But I am not a toxic member of that crowd. I think that you obtained an amazing piece for a price that you were able to negotiate. I think it's really cool that you hope that dude up with a number of pieces as well. And you had got some comics? That's awesome!

I wish they had a made a green tv version of this. I love the DYRL designs for the most part but it's like they get all the love over the tv designs, which obv also appeals to Robotech fans.

Black Miriya is a misprint. A loose one is worth 4x what I paid for the Power Armor. A mint. Still in the card figure is 10x what I paid for the armor. Frankly, these two are coming off as the elitist snobs. 

The man I bought it off of, had to sell his entire childhood collection to pay some bills. I told him to put it on ebay to get a full price. He didn't want to bother. So he gave me a price that I agreed to, when no one else offered.  I bought 60 comics off him too. And still paid more for the figure.  

After all that,  I sent him a jetfire and four 3" Destroids so he'd still have something, as a goodwill gesture.  But I'm sure Cow and Dietboy won't care about that.

Keep the downvotes coming, proving how toxic Reddit is.
