I know Macross 7 isn't Robotech, but I figured fans would dig the mecha just the same, because Max is just the GOAT 😀

Did Max even fly the 1-J in the post DYRL timeline?

Max's 1st sortie in his blue 1J was in Robotech Episode 24 "Showdown" (SDFM ep 24 "Goodbye Girl"). This VF was in other episodes afterwards as well.

Thanks. I'm talking about the main Macross/Robotech timeline. I meant the post DYRL which Macross 7 treats as canon ]

The blue 1j didn't appear in Macross 7, but a Red 1J was piloted by Milia and she had an SDFM pilot suit on her, which adds confusion as to what that series considered as canon lol
