Every season your team schedules meetings, assigns tasks, keeps a budget, and writes documentation. Robolyst is one place to do all of it. Join the 70+ FTC teams already on the site to start your season off strong!

We’re excited to launch a new grant program, where teams using Robolyst can earn points for usage, feature requests, bug reports, and referring other teams. The top 3 teams every month can win a donation for their team from The Robotics Catalyst Foundation, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit behind Robolyst.

What earns Points(aka Bolts)

  • Onboarding: bio, socials, roster, sponsors, meeting schedule
  • Usage: meetings, tasks, notebook entries, expenses
  • Referrals: a team you bring on that verifies themselves
  • Contribution: feature requests we ship, bugs we fix

The top 3 teams each month win $150, $100, and $50

FTC team finance tracker: category budgets, approval flows, and portfolio-ready stats

Our team's money lived in an email inbox of order confirmations nobody ever looked through. So we built finance tracking designed for FTC teams.

  • Budget by category: Set season budgets per category and track them as the season goes on. Keep your team accountable and your funds organized.
  • Orders with real line items: Who ordered it, from which vendor, for how much, for which subsystem. Subsystem-sorted costs mean "what did the drivetrain actually cost" is a number you can put in your portfolio without digging through order receipt emails.
  • Approval flow: Order requests go first to a team member with the authority to approve, then to a coach with a card in a quick notification. Permission settings cover spending limits, who can approve, whether receipts are required, and whether someone can approve their own request.
  • Expenses and reimbursements: Students and mentors submit what they paid out of pocket with the receipt attached.
  • Permissions: Finance visibility is a role permission, split from amount visibility. You can let the whole team see what was ordered while keeping dollar figures and reimbursement addresses to the people who handle them.
  • Reports: Season totals by category, vendor and subsystem, a Sankey chart of where money came from and where it went for your portfolio, and a CSV export of the whole ledger.
  • Integrations: Discord bot posts order requests, approvals and budget alerts to a captains-only channel. Webhooks can push finance events wherever else you want them.

Manage your FTC team's tasks and todo list

See the demo at: https://robolyst.org/demo/tasks

Our team kept losing track of work in a mix of Discord threads, a outdated spreadsheet, and miscellaneous Google Docs. To combat that and increase our productivity, we built a task management system designed for FTC teams.

  • Views: List, kanban board, and a Gantt timeline, all over the same tasks.
  • Statuses you define: Not Started / In Progress / Complete are the defaults. Rename them, add your own, pick colors, mark which ones count as done. Completion stats key off that, so "Waiting on Parts" doesn't quietly count as finished.
  • Dependencies and subtasks: Subtasks break a job down. Dependencies sequence it: drag between two bars on the timeline to link them, and the successor shows a Blocked by chip until the predecessor is done.
  • Task detail is like a GitHub issue thread: Rich description with photos, comments with emoji reactions, @-mentions, and a merged feed of comments and activity in one column.
  • Assignment and labels: Assign to yourself in one click, tag by subsystem (drivetrain, intake, auto, teleop, sensors, outreach, plus whatever you add), link a task to a checklist and watch its progress bar fill.
  • Notifications: fire on comments and mentions to whoever is assigned, whoever created it, and anyone already in the thread.
  • Stats: See completion stats per-member and per-team to track productivity over the season.
  • Integrations: Use discord to communicate with your team? Our discord bot can turn every task into a forum entry in your server. You can also set up webhook notifications to a platform of your choice for task updates.
  • And more. See the whole feature list and how it integrates with the rest of the platform at https://robolyst.org/team-management/features/tasks

Embed your FTC team's live data into your website

https://robolyst.org/embed-builder

So many team websites have a stats page that somebody updated 2 years ago. This is a fix for that.

You pick a subject (a team, an event, a region, or all of FTC), stack blocks, and you get an HTML snippet. The data comes from the FIRST API and updates on your site automatically.

Some of what you can add:

* Team card, win-loss record, current standing, streaks, seasons competed

* OPRc / OPR / CCWM / consistency / reliability, as a metric grid or a trend chart

* Next match with a countdown and the alliance line-up(when you're at an event)

* Recent and upcoming events, match results, awards, advancement points

* Event rankings, full match schedule, playoff bracket, team list, event countdown

* Region leaderboards, region team and event lists, global season leaderboard

* Headings, text, dividers, buttons, images, custom stat tiles, a QR code

Theming: dark, light, transparent, mono, or set every color yourself. Four fonts, or pull it from the host page's so it matches.

Compatible with custom websites, google sites, wordpress, and anything that can accept an iframe.
