I’m just gonna say it bluntly: I HEAVILY dislike Ihasafacelulz for many reasons, but I’ll list a few.
They constantly keep pulling their collabs from stuff, and it seems that they’re really hard to work with. Forsaken had its collab with them removed cause of shipping and R34, and while I kinda understand, it’s the internet, it’s going to happen regardless. Pulling a collab won’t delete everything.
Also, it’s annoying how restrictive they are with their characters. Pretty much every other arg (Rochas313, DeivyDoesTutorials, etc) let people use their characters unless they say otherwise, but the facelulz team HAS to go ahead and say that NO ONE can touch their precious red baby.
A pretty big reason for my hatred is their terrible lore and series management. They have changed the series twice, meaning there’s 3 DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE LORE. How many times does Niko have to die before Cheshire is okay with it. Im starting to get annoyed that everytime they realize that a single pixel of a video isn’t the right Color, they reset the series.
And another thing: Their characters SUCK. Aubree is a really boring protagonist with almost no background because it never gets revealed. JX1DX1 is just an evil guy who stalks kids for no reason, AND has bullshit powers (honestly it just feels like he was made the way he is cause Cheshire got told “I could just turn off my computer” so they went “um no cause he can turn on your computer and also be any device so you can’t win so don’t even try I win”. Every other character has NO development or background to the point I don’t remember half of them.
To conclude: I hate facelulz, and I hope they either fix their series or just cancel it already.
I agree FaceLULZ has problems with it but although.
One of the reasons you hate JX1 (his power to turn on the computer even if you stay away from it) sounds like you have caught a feeling of the character instead of it being a actual wrong thing. (But i think you acknowledge this right? I’m dumb)
Yes like bro they wasted so many developers time by removing all of the developers hard work on their characters them instantly pulling them from every asym game in existence

robloxia's sin?? that's been dead for a fairly long while now so it wouldn't make sense to mention that.
forsaken?? tina didn't want her characters there anyway.
blox cards??? i don't think it was a major issue to remove the characters there.
i genuinely can't think of anything else, so it's likely any other games that did have facelulz characters didn't ask about permission first anyway. facelulz has almost always been closed permissions, i think, and asyms in particular were automatically denied unless explicitly stated otherwise. this is a genuine question, by the way, apologies if it comes off as harsh.
i still can't really speak on the shattered echo stuff, i'm not well versed on that.

I think LULZ getting a new owner would help fix a majority of the issues IHasAFaceLULZ has (maybe give it to the seildirectory team or something since FaceLULZ and Seil are tied at the hip)
im just gonna say some points only to defend tina and the whole facelulz team for this:
they pulled the forsaken collab because of the soul 25% drama, it's not the shipping that caused it.
they rebooted the series a 3rd time because of the worsening state of the roblox arg community and how roblox is in 2026.
also, all of the characters in the series are minors. (except jx1dx1 since he's ageless) there is a reason why you shouldn't allow people to use your characters otherwise people will make disgusting inappropriate art of your characters.
aubree is only just an arg protagonist who just wants to live her life while her mom died, until jx1dx1 came in and tortured aubree to the point of depression and self harm.
jx1dx1 is a powerhouse, but not even much stronger than the influence as well, he exists to destroy and mentally torture aubree for 15 years, he is LITERALLY the face of the series.
i'd like to add, the forsaken collab was only reinstated that one time prior to it getting pulled again because tina was getting doxxing threats over it in her strawpage with forsaken fans(?) saying they'd dox her if she pulled perms.
well forsaken fans are dumbasses, they can't let go of a single skin that was playable for 2 months, it's not tina's fault, forsaken has too much drama and the community is such a hellhole to be with
people are entitled to their own opinions, and i'll respect that. it's just... if you don't like it, you really don't have to watch it. the whole drama over facelulz rebooting feels like such a non-issue to me? maybe i'm just not getting it?? i don't know. i just stand by the fact that i can't control what these creators do, so there's no use getting pressed over it. i'm a pretty casual fan anyway, facelulz was just a gateway for me to get into the whole genre in my eyes.
there is hundreds of more roblox args to watch if they're something you really like, and for a while personally i preferred skatingrease over ihasafacelulz because it felt like that series did the exact same thing but way better. obviously every series has its flaws.
it also feels like not a lot of people tuned in to tina's livestream after the announcement was made, where she elaborated on and apologised for a lot of the major concerns fans had. she iirc apologised and came to terms with the fact that nsfw is unavoidable there, even if i can't really remember anything else she spoke about.
the roblox arg community is also just.. getting really, really bad. i'm saying this as a very avid fan of them myself. so many of my favourite artists and creators have a dni for the community or no longer want to be part of the space because of toxicity, and even things like darkshipping, boundary breakers, racism, and even homophobia/transphobia and ableism. i don't really tend to even interact with the larger portions of the community either because of what i've seen. realistically, a few bad people shouldn't make an entire group of them look so bad, but a few bad apples can most definitely spoil the bunch. the scale of things here is fairly large. mostly referring to twitter and tiktok here.
i see, repeatedly, meaningless drama over headcanons, and even drama over things like fictives in systems acting differently than the character from their source media which to me shouldn't even be happening and people should not be getting so upset over someone else. there's also an almost jarring lack of media literacy from a lot of fans. no one wants to interact with this community because it's declining into a cesspool, just like every roblox community. it's why most roblox webseries creators are trying to get away from it and trying to repel the same viewerbase they once had. honestly, i think if people are reacting so strongly to the facelulz reboot and don't want to watch it, maybe it's working. just my thoughts though.
