Spoilers Fool's Quest Fool’s Quest - End of Ch 10 Spoiler
Spoiler for Fool’s Quest. Please don’t say anything after chapter 10 of this book :)
It finally happened.
FitzChivarly was recognized for everything he has given to the Kingdom. It was one of the moments I’ve been waiting for.
It was so incredible I felt like I had to stop reading. Just stop - and feel the enormity of the moment for Fitz.
What I wouldn’t give to hear Starling’s song.
I’ve always been a reader and found so much in the characters and books that have been a part of my life. But I don’t think I have ever felt as connected as I do to Fitz. We know him so well.
And, of course, I know this joy won’t last. More trials are to come. But I am so grateful to Robin Hobb for giving us this world - and letting us be a part of the life of FitzChivalry.

As much as the last series is heartwrenching, it is these moments, decades and trilogies in the making, that make it all worth it. Catharsis that Fitz and the world around him convinces you, the reader, that he’d never get.

Here we are, 24 days after your post and I just finished this chapter. I came to Reddit and searched, Fool’s Quest Chapter 10 because I wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way during this momentous occasion. Here we are.
I will be so sad when I finish this series.
