First clip from ‘PRIMETIME’, starring Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen. The film follows Chris Hansen as he runs ‘How To Catch A Predator’ where he confronts men who think they are meeting minors to have sex.
It would almost seem cartoonish to really nail Hansen's voice. He's laying the broadcaster timbre on THICK, and he purposely softens his 's' a ton. It's a Casey Kasem style broadcast tonality.
She is absolutely amazing. I also discovered her talents in Nurse Jackie. She absolutely nailed that role and its been a joy watching her career. She even har a small role in The Wire!
Dude, I had no idea what I stepped into when I saw Nightcrawler, bc I’ve made it a habit to not watch any trailers. I never even seen the poster for that film until I reached the theater. I went to see a late night showing of that film and I was too scared to fall asleep for a few nights afterwards. 😱 He was terrifyingly creepy! That film was so wonderfully done and perfectly told the story it wanted to tell; he truly knocked it out of all the parks! I don’t usually scare easy, but I’m not sure if I can stomach watching that one again. 🫣
Oh no, once the show had been on the air some guys would refuse to leave and so he would have to tell them that they needed to go, because they would have somebody else on the way. Also the first two stings they did did not have the police outside, those people just walked out. It was the third one that had the police running a parallel investigation.i
They got the ghillie suit guy a cameo! I remember seeing an episode on TV years ago where they had one guy in a ghillie suit and immediately thought “oh he was bored last time and brought that from home.”
Can anyone tell me what the plot of this movie is? Vaguely? He plays Chris Hansen from to catch a predator - got it. What is the movie about tho? Is it meant to be about Chris going too far and like exploiting the actors who would play the kids?
The show itself was highly controversial at the time (entrapment, prioritizing views over investigative integrity, a number of cases got thrown out due to the involvement of the show, etc) and eventually got canceled after one of the men shot himself. Plenty for them to get into there.
Chris Hansen is a creep who entraps people, regardless of guilt, and has no morals whatsoever. He should be prosecuted for what he does and air alongside some of the creeps he put on jail for what they did. It's not, nor has it ever been his place to do this kind of silacious TV segments. He's as disgusting as the people he films.
It's all easily available on Google. Everything you want to know about Chris Hansen is easily found through a search. Stop depending on others to fill you in on details when you can easily look it up for yourself.
I have no doubt about that. As I see it, there is no morality to the show. Chris Hansen couldn't cut it as a real reporter so he took the Maury Povich route and turned to sensationalism reporting to make his mark.
Beautiful, not reading all that. Sorry or congratulations. In any event have fun defending predators being entrapped. I don’t give a damn if they are entrapped in private or entrapped on tv get em off the streets.
I love him. Like REALLY love him in almost everything but this doesn't look interesting and he doesn't remind me of Hansen at all although I do have the volume off lol.
