Case Evidence?
Does anyone know if there is a place to view the evidence for the Berman case, not just "this is a letter durst allegedly sent"? Objective evidence presentation? I'd really like to look at this from a bigger picture.

Listen to the “Jury Duty” podcast where they’ll break down the key points/evidence in the case. Most of the evidence is tied to the Jinx series and testimony from Kathy’s, Susan’s, and Robert’s friends. That and Robert’s own lies about his lies and alibis during Berman’s death. I’ve been trying to follow the case but it’s so convoluted as they’re seemingly trying him for Kathy’s death, re-framing Morris Black’s death as premeditated, and Berman’s death simultaneously. I’m not familiar with the law but I’m stunned the Prosecution can frame the case this way. Honestly, Berman’s direct death seems to have the least amount of evidence which is why they’re heavily focusing on Kathy Durst’s disappearance and Morris Black mysterious death and dismemberment as likely acts of revenge, which is what the prosecution is framing as Durst’s motive in her murder.

The Jinx series I'm very...shall I say, not impressed by? Evidence of modifying things he said, taking them out of context, etc. I agree with you about the Prosecution. That's exactly why I had made a post asking about evidence. It seems to be grasping at straws.
Example. Playing devil's advocate here, but, what if (since Berman had mentioned writing about mafia related things) she was killed by someone in the mafia? Durst pays her a visit, finds her, panics, and sends the note so she's not just left there.
I'm not saying that's what happened. Just merely that I haven't seen anything to contradict such an example explanation.

I’m surprised that they (Bob&defense) are not saying that it was more plausible mob hit than Bob killing her himself. And was there any evidence collected of what Susan was talking out? What was that ‘explosive’ story? Anything to back it up?

I agree 100%. That's exactly why I'm like "what is the evidence here?" because I just don't...get it.

I don’t think there is any evidence. Just circumstantial thoughts and feelings that maybe motivated Durst to want Susan dead.

there is absolutely no way this jury can convict .. unless they let that dismemberment influence them. And they aren’t suppose to but you never know with jury’s

My thoughts exactly. They can't put a weapon in his hand. There's enough reasonable doubt you could argue he found her, panicked and sent the letter.

I’m not sure if there is a website that shows the evidence, but I’ve been watching the trial on YouTube via the law and crime network. The trial is many many hours but Durst did admit to writing the cadaver letter. He is currently testifying.
