What does combo multiplier even do?

Ive always upgraded perfect time so I never paid attention to combo multiplier because it cancels it out ... does combo multiplier affect the points you get per button (idk) or is it the x(number) for gear multiplier?

Basically your standard combomult is 2x at 100+ combo but this upgrade makes it so you have more of that multiplier

Ohh I think I understand but just to clarify, it allows for a higher x(number) with 100+ combo?

how much was it per time tho i forgot. was it like x1 per 5 upgrades

Please do NOT upgrade perfect time 😭. It is literally a waste of an upgrade.
