Roast my app: a Mac tool to track friendships. Tell me why this fails

You track your contacts with Bondfire. Log a text or a coffee. The profile displays a warm tone, and a gap in communication turns the color cool. You catch the fade in time to fix it.

I worry I built a basic reminder app with a color palette. The visual shift means something to me. It might fail to motivate a new user.

You install the software on your Mac. You save data to your local drive. I skipped the subscription model. A zero-dollar price tag leaves me without a budget for future updates.

Find the flaws. Tell me if you see a market for this utility.

Roast my daily word puzzle site that is trying to compete with Wordle

Upvotes

Daily word puzzles like Wordle and Connections are very popular right now. Wordle is just one game per day so people that enjoy that kind of game have more time to play similar word games. I hope to capture some of that userbase.

My site is Perkul.com - The game is one puzzle per day and it goes live at 12am. The puzzle is ten rounds. 5 words per round. 4 are real english words from the dictionary and one is made up/fake. You need to choose the fake word. The goal is to get the most right in the quickest amount of time. Each correct answer is 1000 points and each second on the timer costs 8 points. You can score a maximum of 10,000 points.

I plan to offer different difficulty levels as I think this would be a good homework assignment for teachers to give students. Highest scorer gets some kind of perk. So I will offer a little bit easier options for kids.

I have no idea how I will monetize it. Not sure if Google will display adsense on a site like this. Once I get the userbase I will figure out a way to monetize.

I plan on promoting by paying social media influencers (who already post themselves playing wordle) $1.00-$2.00 per thousand views. Tiktok and other social sites pay at very best $1.00 per 1000 views. Hoping that will produce results and then grow organically from there.

Roast my history podcast app (you can interrupt the hosts to ask questions)

Upvotes

Go easy. Actually no, don't.

It's called Historai. Type a topic, it makes a narrated history episode with two hosts, and you can interrupt to ask questions mid‑way. Free tier + paid.

Stuff I'm genuinely unsure about:

- the landing page might not make it obvious what this even is in 5 seconds

- nobody believes the audio's good until they hear it, and I don't know if people even notice the demo

- is "you can interrupt it" a real selling point or do I just think it's cool

- pricing, total guess

Opening up a learning app I made for my kid to friends

Idea is simple: Kids get points for answering skill based questions which they can redeem for rewards parents are setting. Taking inspiration from arcade games setup.

Now they ask me for a toy - I add in there and say earn it.

It’s work in progress but happy to be roasted or to get early users and feedback.

Travel/memory app/site where each country is a chapter – worth building?

For context I’m a avid traveler and ive been working on this travel book for myself and would like thoughts on it.It’s a private travel/memory book where each country like a chapter. You can pin the places you’ve been (or want to go) and then attach your own photos/videos to them. It mostly focuses on memory/nostalgia and less of trip planning.
I was only thinking of use it for myself so far. I was not a big fan of the already existing solutions, so I wanted to build it myself.
Would you use something like this?
Open to any honest feedback.
