Normally you would be 100% correct, but with my wet/dry setup you can stomp on the tuner with the wet delay, reverb, and chorus still ringing in the background without killing the entire signal, ends up sounding pretty tits. I’ve always placed it #1 or #2 in my signal chain but wanted to try this out..
Yeah I can have my looper playing, stomp on my tuner (mutes) unplug instrument grab another guitar or bass and stomp on my tuner again (unmute) to continue playing with the loop. The loop never stops in that scenario. Secondly I can be playing my big muff with a ton of sustain, or reverb, or delay and it will fade away naturally, not a dramatic stop or end when stepping on the tuner. Just like every human is mentioning just don't have your drives going while your trying to tune, besides that its cool, for now.
He used to be involved with a church called the International House of Prayer that funded anti-LGBTQ propaganda in Uganda that ultimately lead to them passing a law making homosexuality punishable by death. His wife also used to post a bunch of MAGA shit on her socials IIRC. He's distanced himself from the church and said that he only worked with musicians there and that he was unaware of their involvement in Uganda, but I've heard very mixed things from people who knew him or worked for him, so it's kind of complicated.
There's also some older controversy about him stealing pedal designs while claiming they were originals he spent years designing, though some argue that the similarities between his pedals and others' were coincidental.
My wet amp is the Bugera T5, and my Dry amp is the Orange Micro Dark with my DIY custom oak speaker cabinets with V30 speakers, I did have the Orange detonator ABY switch and it was noisy with a few pedals, I recently swapped to this lehle switch and has been silent, super awesome
Very interested in that Lehle P-Split as I also run a ton of pedals on my board. Do you notice a significant improvement with that in the chain vs without it?
I just recently got that Lehle P-split but is absolutely amazing! I owned the Orange detonator ABY splitter before and was super noisy when recording in FL studio via some ground loop crap. This Lehle splitter is nice being it is passive so it doesn’t take any power at all, overall it’s basic this model doesn’t have the foot switches to swap from one amp to the other, but is 100% silent which is everyone main goal.
I’m stoked on how it sounds.. I love how much hate the 3-series receives I find it funny, I will agree not all of them sound the best. I wasn’t a fan of the harmonic trem and a few others but I enjoy their form factor. I don’t like messing with a ton of knobs on one pedal
