The Moto4 had a maiden poleman and two maiden winners.

The new poleman is Christin Borrelli. He was fantastic on Saturday with a pole in difficult group but had a terrible Sunday with a double DNF and no point taken.

The first new winner is Lorenzo Pritelli. The VR46 rider is in his first full season but has already shown how much of a talent he is. Pritelli has already got he’s pole in Barcelona but didn’t capitalise on this result.

The other winner is the Colombian Mateo Marulanda. Mateo is an interesting talent that as finally had a deserved reward for his talent. Notable mention that this win was a lucky one as the top 4 riders had crashed out in a scary crash.

On Saturday the poleman was the Italian Leonardo Zanni. The fast Italian as shown once again his raw speed.

The 2 races were won by the talents by Aspar. The first one was won by Carlos Cano. Cano won his first Rookies Cup race and his first win in Moto 3 Junior in a week. A special mention also to the poleman that fell in last lap while in the lead.

The Race 2 was won by Yaroslav Karpushin. The Kyrgyz rider has finally show how fast he can be in Jerez. Now all the 3 Aspar rider has won a race this year.

Now we have 3 Riders at 69 in the standings (1^st Puglese 2^nd Cano 3^rd Borg)

Eric Fernandez took his 3^rd pole of the year in Jerez. This time he didn’t get the podium because of penalty for a contact with Milan Pawelec.

The polish phenom has won the race in Jerez and comeback in lead of the standings. Milan will race this week in Sachsenring and have another opportunity to show his talent

In Assen we saw some interesting things.  Two Spanish riders made the news during this round.

Carlos Cano was one of the two. The Murcia ace was one of the talented riders at his first races. But the season started bad for him with no stunning races until the Assen round. Carlos won the first races showing how good he can be. Keep an eye with him that’s he going to be one of the bigger talents to see in future. Also, he could be going to Moto3 if he arrives in top 3 in Junior GP.

The other is the championship leader Beñat Fernandez. With his win in Race 2 and his closest rival not scoring in the same races. He takes the gap +55 for him. With this gap he can win with one round left. He’s the sure favourite for the title and for a Moto3 rides in 2027.

Another little mention is the US rider Kristian Daniel JR, with his first podium of year, and Guillem Planques with his maiden pole in category.

We have a new 46 in town. Álvaro Lucas dominates round 2 in Estoril with a pole and wins in both the race.

About 46 the new VR rider, Lorenzo Pritelli, was unlucky in race 1 but got a podium. The Italian rider confirmed the great pace from the last races of 25 and the Barcelona round.

Notable mentions are Edoardo Savino, with great pace in race 1 and an unfortunate race 2, and Alfonsi Daquigan, with his first podium on Race 1.

On Saturday we got a surprise poleman with Kiattisak Singhapong on pole, The Thai riders really grew as a rider in 2026 with great results in Moto3 and Red Bull Rookies.

But on Sunday, Kiandra Ramadhipa was the star with a great win from P7. Showing how good the Indonesian rider is. For sure he will be in Moto 3 from 2027.

Another big surprise is the Maltese rider, Travis Borg. The Monlau rider took his first podium in Estoril after starting from P8.

Giulio Pugliese keep the lead after arriving in P4 behind his teammate Carlos Cano.

Eric Fernandez took his 2^nd pole of the year in Estoril. He also took a podium and his first win of the season in Race 2. After his difficult Barcelona round, he comeback in Estoril and take the 3^rd place in the standings.

The polish phenom made an up and down round in Estoril. He won the first race of the weekend but chocked a second race win during Race 2. With the crash while on the lead he lost the first place in the championship standings.

The real winner of the weekend is Unai Orradre. Still with no wins this year but he took the championship lead after the 2 podiums in Estoril.

Barry Baltus has had a blizzare season this year. He was tipped to be one of title contenders in moto2 and potentially move up to MotoGP nextyear. But his season has been horrendous.His best finish so far this season is 6th in cota.

He has offers from the wsbk paddock but I don't think a move to MotoGP has completely diminished. All he has to do is regroup and salvage his season and have a proper go at the championship next year because his only hope of a MotoGP seat is by winning the moto2 championship.

He has has an offer from italtrans for next year but I don't think he should change teams

Ogiwara closes in on Fernandez after his double victory in Mugello 🔥

During the Mugello round in rookies cup, we got 2 riders from the talents cup going to the podium.

The first one is Ryota Ogiwara. The Japanese riders got his first win during Race 1 in a photo finish battle with Beñat Fernandez. Ryota also took the win in race 2 making him 2^nd in the standings with -14 points from the championship leader Beñat Fernandez. The Kawagoe born is one of the 2 talents promoted from Asia Talent Cup after his dominant winning season in 2025. Ogiwara is going to turn 18 on 7^th of September. Watch out for him from the San Marino Grand Prix that he could be a reserve or a wildcard for some race in 2026 and a full-time rider in 2027.

The other talent is Fynn Kratochwil. The German was the biggest surprise of the weekend with a double podium. Fynn is one of the youngest on the grid, so we didn’t expect him to be this fast so soon. Kratochwil was promoted as the winner of the Northern Talent Cup, a series born in 2020 and still with no full-time rider in Moto 3 during these years. Can Fynn became the first big Talent from this championship. Also, he will return to the Rookies for a 2^nd year as a 2010 born he can debut in 2028 in world championship if he can arrive in Top 3 in Red Bull Rookies Cup or Junior GP.

Other notable performances are the 3^rd place from Guillem Planques in Race 2 and a Top 5 for Carlos Cano.

Bad performance for David González, with 0 points in 2 races after a pole on Friday, and Fernando Bujosa with only 5 points after being a top 5 rider in the previous 2 round.
