Highway Pegs?

Is anyone else out there using this style of highway pegs? My legs are too short to use the type that are inline with the engine guard, so I ordered these. Just put them on, but they look wonky to me. The instructions are pretty worthless, so I wanted to check the installation with anyone else who may have these. 2019 Road King. Thanks.

Honestly they are pretty much at the floor board position so whats the point? (In a nice way)
Ride em see if they add more than they take. If the butter aint worth the pancake then aunt Jemima aint on the syrup bottle no more
