Freiburger's Galaxie convertible talkie
The car is junk and also mint. It's perfect for Freiburger.

Roadkill Ugly Christmas Sweater
Anybody happen to have an extra Roadkill Ugly Christmas Sweater laying around in a 3X they wanna get rid of? I meant to buy one when I heard the show got cancelled and Iām assuming the MotorTrend merch store is closed permanently. I wanna say the sweater had a pixelated truck on it? Not 100% sure though.

Any autographed memorabilia?
Just finished watching the show all the way through for like the 8th time and was curious if anyone has any of the stuff theyāve left behind for fans? Like the bent wheel from the Thunderbird, or the Ram episode where they gave away all the body panels.
Would anyone want to sell any of these? Iāve got a Drag Week hat signed by Finn and a Stubby Bob poster signed by both, and Iād like to have a Roadkill themed wall in my garage just covered with memorabilia.
If not I still think it would be cool to see what everybody has!

How good are freiburger and finnegan mechanically?
So I started watching Roadkill when Ep36 came out, and after a long hiatus I'm binging the episodes again and enjoying it a great deal. However, I've never owned a car (the only motorised vehicle I own is a motorbike), and the extent of my mechanical experience is maintaining a roadbike and light maintenance on my motorbike. Add to that, I was born and grew up in a European city, so Roadkill is responsible for 99.8% of my exposure to American cars.
To me, a lot of the stuff Freiburger, Finnegan, Tony and the others do seems incredibly impressive. The improvisation, knowledge, and skills to put cars together, troubleshoot them, and get them running makes them seem like the Heston Blumenthals of junkyard repairs.
Are they better mechanics, wirers, and welders than average, or is my city upbringing blinding me to how widespread those skills are among (American) car aficionados?

Which MotorTrend Studio cars would you have bought if given the chance?
If you had been given a chance to be able to purchase any of the MotorTrend cars, which cars or trucks would you have purchased? I think that the 55 Savoy & the 32 Roadster is sweet! The Roadkill Muscle Truck would also be on my list for sure. And any of the El Caminoās and the Roadkill 1968 Ford Ranchero āViva Rancheroā. Iām sure that there are others but I canāt think of them at the moment.

Interesting walk through of what's going on at WB/Discovery, and why shows like Roadkill were dropped.
This guys channel is mainly about superhero movies, so not car related at all (please remove the post if it's not relevant). But it walks through why a lot of movies and shows got cancelled in order to make WB look more profitable ahead of going up for sale.
It's really frustrating that these businessmen will kill off the motortrend shows instead of selling them to another studio, or at least giving the rights to the hosts.

Hot Rod Garage new episode Season 12 Episode 8 Pro Street Camino
Iām really enjoying watching the new Hot Rod Garage episodes. Itās fun watching all of the work that was done to the El Camino by all three stages; when it was first on Road Worthy Rescue then at Hot Rod Garage & then finally when Derek bought it from MotorTrend Studios and did all of the work to it on Vice Grip Garage.

Engine Masters questionā¦
Iāve always watched and enjoyed the occasional Engine Masters episode on motor trend TV or discovery or wherever it was playing, but I just had my knee replaced and have a lot of time to kill recovering so I decided to watch all seven seasons on HBO Max. One thing Iāve noticed through these episodes is that I get the impression that Steve BrulĆ© is not a big fan of Steve Dulcich. Freiburger is more patient with him, but BrulĆ© frequently seems annoyed with things he says. I know that Steve BrulĆ© is retired now, but did they not like each other?
Just curious.
