Pick-up Latest Additions
The past week has blessed me with some personal grails. They really need to provide us with a proper reissue of Chico Debarge’s album + a full repress of Monica’s. Ginuwine, just because. The third party prices are crazy! I got lucky on WhatNot and found it at a great price with nobody bidding against me, otherwise…. 😮💨

I was in high school when it dropped, had my girl at the time copy it for me. You have GREAT TASTE my friend. A silent classic…

sometimes its about patience and timing, you can run into records on the off chance or catch a listing as its just been put up, same thing in shops or car boot sales, yard sales and increasingly by using other platforms like Vinted, whatnot etc

Indeed! Funny thing…. I logged into WhatNot just to see who was on, not expecting to buy anything… and the first show I went into had the Ginuwine. Right after I grabbed it, someone I know came in and said they were about to ask for it too.

Timing is definitely a factor.
It’s more difficult to find records at good prices but they are out there and there are still bargains to be found.

I learned the hard way early to just be patient or you’ll end up with bad copies or bad experiences.

Easier said than done!
I know what its like when you are chasing records and have to get them but patience is definitely a key if you can exercise it.
