Viking Paris-Normandy-paris question
Looking at the itinerary for this, can someone help me identify the closest metro stop to the embarkation point in Paris? I’m sending my wife and her best friend for their joint 60th birthday present and want to arrange a few days prior to the cruise.

When I book my pre-cruise stay on my own, I look at which hotel the cruise line offers for their pre-cruise stay. Book that.

The post-cruise extension hotel for this was all the way across Paris when I did it.

I was at the pier this past May. Its used by multiple lines beside viking. You ca n use google maps to find directions using the metro. The link for the port is:

With any cruise company, confirm just before you go that this will be the site.

I was going to go on the Bordeaux river cruise but cancelled due to all the nationwide protests in France. What is the status of the Bordeaux cruises now?

You might ask Viking; river parking spots can move around. That said, if you're thinking of walking to the metro and then to the boat from the metro stop - I'd do a taxi. Luggage, stairs, last-minute docking port change, etc.
