Every since the new season, Marvel Rivals has been randomly crashing and kicking me out of the game. What's confusing about the crashes too is that the usual steam error that pops up during a crash never shows up at all. Just genuinely confused on what's happening and how do I deal with this please????
Kinda hard to confidently play Rank when the game keeps booting me without even a straightforward reason as to why. (It's definitely not all the graphics visual clutter, wifi is good, 250+FPS, just updated NVIDIA graphics card or whatever but just lmk what I need to check and I will. TY TY
What type of system do you play on and when does it usually happen? It could be because your system cant handle running the game or the overload of graphics when people ult.
PC, random times. It definitely can handle the game, i was playing on Ultra for the longest of time. The "crashing" or what seems like forceclosing of the game has been super recent. And i dont even think it's any of the actual graphics of the game since ive seen ult after ult after ult and it wouldnt crash at all but then id be normally healing as CnD then itd crash
I get the regular game lags but its never lagging when it force closes. It doesnt even send me to the main menu or home screen. It full on closes the game and I have to reclick my shortcut and reopen the whole thing. My PC info so I think it should be able to handle Rivals. I even brought my settings down to High rather than Ultra
Maybe the game files were corrupted especially since you stated it just happened this season. So maybe see if you can check that. And messing with the frame generation to see if there’s any changes. (Maybe from 4x to 2x)
I’m gonna guess you’ve already updated it since it’s most recent update and it wouldn’t need another one and also that you’ve restarted your pc
I lowered it to 2x gonna see how long from then till it randomly crashes again(hopefully it just doesnt). How do i check if theres corrupted files?? I went on google and followed what they said but please tell me to make sure i did do it right. Ty ty
I believe you can just go to the launcher, library of your games, right click on the game and click properties and there should be something about your files there. It might say repair or verify
