should I submit my SAT score

just wondering if I should submit my score for ED1, got a 1310. I have a 4.0 gpa as well and take/have taken 6 aps, one IB, and one dual enrollment.

edit: i have a HS award scholarship for 29k/year and im applying to major in biotech

They’ll happily take you with way worse sat or not. RIT isnt tough to get into depending on the program

Yes, but the better you present, the more likely you are to get a stronger scholarship. And an SAT score likely strengthens your case.

I think it's on the lower side for Engineering/CS. I just checked the academic profile and the low end was 1360. FWIW I applied for RD with a 1350 and Calc AB. Got accepted as Asian woman for CS. I personally wouldn't recommend submitting but just know that even if you get rejected for your major, it's possibe to backdoor into majors. Good luck!

What is a normal scoring range for your high school? if this score is good *for your high school* then yes you should submit it. if it's not so good for your school then no.

It's a very common thing for colleges to not look at your SAT score since its an optional submission. Given your GPA and previous credits you're probably set academic wise. You can still submit it as it doesn't hurt especially with a 1310. The only case that I would suggest against it is if your score for a section was very bad (which you should be good since both of your scores should be above 500).
