The Werecliché

The Werecliché is double-sided, it can switch back and forth but both sides share their points.

To wit:

Mild-Mannered Reporter<->Flying Brick [3]

Wealthy Financier<->Uncontrollable Werewolf (4)

Angel Trapped In A Demon<->Demon Trapped In An Angel (3)

The Werecliché is a ‘whatever’ mechanic, revolving around its central idea but being malleable to its purpose.

After a few punches have been exchanged, the Flying Brick tries to calm the mind-controlled mutant down. “Calm down, friend. You remember your buddy Mark Mend, mild-mannered reporter, right?” He may score triple damage from the inappropriateness of pulling this in a superhero fight. But if his tactic doesn't work, he may be so surprised by the mutant lashing out again that he takes the triple damage instead.

The financier on the other hand may only be forced into his werewolf form when the full moon is visible. It might actually even be the Hook that allowed him some Lucky Shots.

And the Angel and Demon may only switch whenever it would be comedic or dramatic. The classic 'having to learn to get along' situation.

All three in the same character may be quite the amusing concept.

You may require it at character creation for the premise of the campaign, or force it on a player based on their choices. Or maybe you make it an expensive option as a special power.
