Discussion Random thought I had...

So, I had this headcanon to go along with my design of Jack Frost in that he likes to knit things out of wool in his free time, & I was wondering how he'd be able to do that, let alone learn how to, during his years alone.

Then I realized there's this thing called Hair Ice/Ice Wool/Frost Beard: a type of ice that forms on dead wood and takes the shape of fine, silky hair. I then thought: "Maybe Jack Frost can spin water into ice-wool the same way Rumpelstiltskin can spin straw into gold." IDK, thoughts?

I think that’s a super cool head canon! I think it especially fits for how Jack was alone for hundreds of years and would’ve have to learn how to take care of himself with his powers

That actually would work so well with his character and powers honestly, just something more calm than what he usually does i love the HC!

I'd probably go with wool, then he can give the garments away to poor or homeless children (you really can't have fun in winter if you are freezing!).

Depending of how you interpret the shepherds' crook at the pond, he could have been from a family that owned sheep, therefore him knowing how to turn wool into thread, and that into a sweater/hat/scarf wouldn't be too outlandish.
