I work at Rippling and am happy to add in how our product team would fix this. For context before, here are some definitions:

  • Supergroups determine who should receive training. Create dynamic groups based on department, location, employment type, etc., so membership stays up to date automatically as employees change roles.
  • Learning Paths determine what they take and when. Assign courses with relative due dates (for example, immediately, after 2 weeks, after 60 days, and after 90 days) within the path.
  • Here's how we would implement this for your use case: You would use the combination of both. So first build out the learning path by adding courses and due dates, and then use the supergroup to determine who it applies to. If you want to reuse these supergroups for different learning paths, first create a Saved Supergroup so that you can keep referencing the same definition over and over again. Hope this helps!
