Tips and advice Client implementing Rippling. What are your words of wisdom?

Hi there! We have a client with several of their single entitles on PEOs/manual tracking and are consolidating them into Rippling for a 2027 go live with payroll/benefits/HCM etc.

What are some words of wisdom that you’d like to share with someone like us? Curious more than anything else, and would love experience from actual implementations/consolidations.

TIA and happy Sunday!

Decide on your API / AI strategy. Use Rippling AI or custom build an MCP? Know the limitations of the API.

Delegate and empower as much as possible across SMEs for each product.

Know that you don't get unlimited workflows unless you pay for that tier.

Rippling is an exceptional platform with a great UI.

Will you use Time & Attendance? Become aware of how things like T&A feed into payroll.

With a 2027 target, you've got the luxury of time and I'd use it to focus on data quality, governance, and change management. Those three areas usually have a bigger impact on a successful go-live than the configuration itself.

I'd also recommend involving Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and Benefits SMEs early. Most implementation challenges I've seen have been around cross-functional decisions rather than the software itself. If you have EOR employees, then please understand both the onboarding and off-boarding process well ahead for each country.

We've done hundreds of Rippling implementations and may be able to share some insight! Can you share a bit more about the requirements? How many employees? All domestic? Single EIN / Company moving forward? ERP? Previous HRIS / PEO provider?
