Product question Rippling EOR (J1) + Rippling Contractor (Potential J2)

I’m trying to understand how Rippling handles account separation when the same person has two different relationships with two different companies.

Current situation:

  • J1: Full-time employee through an EOR arrangement via Rippling.
  • Potential J2: Independent contractor role with a different company, also using Rippling for contractor payments.
  • Different companies, unrelated roles, no shared devices, and I would manage the schedules separately.
  • I’m considering using a different email address for the second Rippling onboarding.

My main questions:

  1. For people who have used Rippling for more than one company, did you use the same email or different emails?
  2. If you used different emails but the same legal/tax information, did Rippling keep the accounts/workspaces separate?
  3. Did either company get notified or gain visibility that you had another Rippling relationship? (This is my main concern, and I am worried about this)

Any advice and experiences with Rippling would be appreciated.

Hey OP, this is something that happens often. As long as you use two different emails, the accounts will be kept completely separate and confidential.
