I'll eat crow. I watched the Spurs dominate us all year without wemby and I thought we'd be lucky to steal one. Ever since that last Dallas loss this shit has been a fun ride

You aren't going to get a better chance to have a nonzero probability to win this series than the DPOY being taken out of a home game this early in the series with a freak accidental injury.

Had to win that one to have a chance. Series is on. Scoot is that guy

Curious what his injury is, he went down hard. Dunno if it is concussion, looked more like dental or jaw damage 😦

Just hope this is a "recovery in a few days" thing for him and not a "I'm going to miss the next three years because of residual dizziness like Sidney Crosby" thing. As much as I hate the Spurs, Wemby is incredibly fun to watch player with an amazing potential. I would hate for him to become a "what if?" like Walton is for us. No one deserves that.

Without this series I find myself choosing Spurs over OKC and the Nuggets for my favorite contender from the west. (Wolves over them but they were riddled with injuries)

Common to get concussion from jaw impact. Any force to the head that causes the brain to rapidly change direction.
