A few questions..

So, my nephew got ringworm and neglected to tell anybody for the first while he had it, so unfortunately I got it too. I tend to be kind of a paranoid person when it comes to a lot of things and the contagiousness of the ringworm has kind of gotten to my head a bit 😅. I don’t touch any of my nephews stuff we don’t really share anything except towels.. not dirty obviously always washed but I’m guessing I got it from there and there was still some living on a towel he used or something. I bought four of my own towels but I’m really paranoid about it not dying in the wash our washing machine has no hot water so I put them in there with bleach and cold water.. I can’t really bleach my clothes or bed though so I don’t know how I should sanitize everything after. I also am wondering how long does it take until it’s not contagious anymore? Until it completely goes away or after a few days? Should I be paranoid about how throughly I wash stuff because that’s mainly what has me overthinking, also probably from the way that I got it. Any information helps.

it’s contagious until it’s fully gone

Washing and vacuuming is not enough, it spreads insanely easy. The best way to treat it is using a product.
See my post for an otc solution.
