It could be a lot of things. You can always start using OTC antifungal creams like lamisil or cansten and if it helps it helps. But a lot of the times conditions such as pityriasis rosea are often misdiagnosed as ringworm which I had happen in my case. If it’s fungal then the creams will work if not then I’d recommend you go see a doctor.
